There was a nice female version on one of the Cowboy Bebop Soundtrack CDs.

Who else could it be? From the moment he sings the opening line, you're hooked.

Also, don't forget to check out Nat King Cole's version.

To all who replied with Frank Sinatra--

Which recording? He's done several renditions of it.

My favorite is the 1966 'Tribute to the Moon Landing' edition live at the Sands Hotel in Las Vegas.

The 1964 version on the album It Might as Well Be Swing accompanied by Count Basie is my favorite. However, the Live At The Sands version is a very, very close second.

I perfer Susan Wongs version better than Diana Krall's.

X2. And the new "Nothing but the Best" remaster is excellent, a studio version. Mentioning any other singer and this song makes little sense to me, in terms of the definitive rendition. There are other good covers, of course. But The Chairman owns this song.

Blue Eyes, either version, then the rest.

Sorry but he just owns that song.

People always talk about how brilliantly he handled lyrics, and his command of that song is a great example. Every syllable has the right accent, the right weight. See also "The Way You Look Tonight."

I second Astrud Gilberto. Paula Toller's is not bad either.
