Caring case for IEM

I want to make my own caring case for my new IEM and I want to make it a metal one. The only question I have is, does an iron case affect the magnets in the driver?

Anybody?

UE have their own metal boxes for their IEMs so I don't think the metal will affect the drivers.

I've been using Altoids tins for a long time, with no (perceptible) effect

I have seen the Altoids being used for an amplifier, but I have never seen them used for a case. If you used it and there is no perceptible effect, I do not think the metal makes any difference. Also, the IEM will not be in physical contact with the metal, which reduces the chances of magnetism.
