I've had a quick email conversation with Beyer and samples will come as soon as they're available. Sure, we plan to carry them if we like 'em.

Does Beyerdynamic have the same annoying restrictions on international sales that Sennheiser does? In the (unlikely, as my wallet threw itself of a tall building recently) event that I should decide to get a pair, it'd be nice to know I don't have to send them to friends first to avoid paying the 300% mark-up headphones get in Japan.

Hi,

Overseas shipping for most beyerdynamic products is typically not a problem. However, we'll have to wait to see if there's any "special" restrictions issued with this can -- like we had with HD800.

I'm already seeing available pre-orders from some authorised dealers. The going pre-order price is surprisingly $995 when the MSRP is $1295.

Isn't HeadRoom coming on board with this??

Apparently in November, so it must be soon. Then again, there may well be delays in its appearance as there was in the case of the HD800's.

We have placed our T1 pre-order several weeks ago with beyerdynamic-USA and are expecting the first arrivals into North America sometime in late Novemberor early Decemeber -- according to last word.

Seems like some are having these shipped to them already. What's happening at HeadRoom. No preorder agreement to offer? Similar to the HD800?

Hello,

beyer states nothing is available for release yet.

we're promised we'll get a chance to hear actual production sets of the T1 at CES in early january. I'm looking forward to it!
