Hmm. I don't have any reference and don't know what kind of an impact the phono stage has on a system, but I'm getting Linn Majik 109s with Classik Music integrated device. I tried a Lejonklou phono stage with a Linn Majik LP12 spinner and it worked very good. That was around 1000usd though.. I enjoy a musical sound with good transients and accurate pitch/note reproduction.

Suggestions please
