For those of you who enjoy 'scores' over 'soundtracks'

This thread is for all of you who love instrumental scores over soundtracks with vocal music.
Some soundtracks also have actual 'songs' in them. I'm talking about 'pure' instrumental.
List your favorite albums, composers, or anything about instrumental scores that you enjoy.

I love soundtracks from:
-James Newton Howard
-Alexandre Desplat
-James Horner

Anyone else?

I don't see how scores can't be lyrical at times...in fact, many scores are heavily lyrical and emotive...and I see you listed Horner and Desplat. Titanic and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button scores are definitely lyrical - especially Button.

Fixed.

Exclude the lyrical songs in those albums, or in any album for that matter.

Curious Case of Benjamin Button is one of my favorite!
