When I had a chance to compare GLite+DPS and GS-1, I couldn't tell much differences between the two as far as sounding quality is concern for my ears. GS-1 has more options and I wish I had more time to compare than just one day.
But I am pretty sure even with more time spent comparison, the difference will not be a night and day. However, if you got the budget for GS-1 though, that is probably what I would get just like you. Both amps sounds very clean in rather polite nature and not aggressive.
