Does anyone know if Koss Pro/4aaa (the 70' model) shared the same drivers as Pro/4aa? Thanks!

i think:
the pro 4aaa has a lower impedance than the 4aa (100 ohms vs 250 ohms). the 4aaa sounds superior also, dosent have the weird murky bass and shrill highs -as much anyway!!
i have had the 4aa and have a rebranded 4aaa (realistic pro II)

My first pair of big headphones was a pair of Pro4AAAs. I still have them, I still need to buy a set of replacement pads. They weigh a ton are built like a tank.

I currently have a pair of Pro4AAAs that haven't been modified/altered, and I measured the drivers to be 255 ohm. That's the reason I think that both the double and triple As may have shared the same drivers. I don't have a pair of Pro4AA to compare with. I do like the sound of my AAAs.

By the way, do the Realistic Pro II's have 100ohm or 250ohm impedance? Thanks!

Koss changed the drivers for the 4aaa's toward the end of their run. Not sure of the ohm, but the black 4aaa are more easily driven than the tan 4aaa.
