K271 MKII: Can i disable the automute switch?

I'm going to buy these headphones but i want to disable the automute switch.
I need to listen the presence of sound when i'm fiddling with cables and connections and the phones are on the desk.

Is it possible? Is there a switch to turn off this feauture?

When I burned mine in I used the eraser of a pencil. It fits perfectly between the wired headband. That is more of a temporary solution though.

You can cut off the plastic piece that presses down on the switch above the left earcup... I think some people have done it before.
