Yes, last year you weren't able to come to this one.
With your typical LI traffic, it shaved off about 30 minutes from the Adria for me.
Plus I avoided the ~12$ in tolls!

That's obviously great news, guess I better get busy building.

Can I charge it to Amex for the miles?

The charge is a recommended $2000/plate, plus an extra $500 if you want a photo with Tom

We accept Diners Club only

Sorry, Head-Fi is a strictly alcohol-free community - none of us drink scotch or wine

It was actually a birthday party but in a dance studio. Normally there are no dance lessons on Saturday afternoons and the lessons are much less rambunctious than parties. Hopefully there will be no parties that afternoon.

Hi Nate,
You're thinking about Babylon, which is another 45 minutes east the Adria. For anyone coming from up North, Harrison shaves off some considerable time.

Erik, you know I'm there, and please let me know whatever I can do to help make your burden more of a joy.

Just make sure that no on throws Drew's camera bag on the floor. I don't want to have to open a can of whoop-ass Kata on anyone (besides, I'd need to stretch first ).

Suggestion 1: Lock in the date asap so that we can get vendors to commit. This is just post RMAF, and travel plans may need to be made now.

Suggestion 2: Ask anyone attending, including MOT's, to limit gear to one table per.
I'm also in if it is on the 14th - and I agree with jpelg's two suggestions above (especially suggestion 1, because my wife is always planning family stuff - like months in advance - so firming up a date for this meet ASAP would be very helpful so I can let her know to leave me alone that day )

All my gear will be off-the-grid, so I won't hog the limited number of power outlets

Special THANK YOU to erikzen and all involved in getting this all planned for us!

Looking forward to this and seeing everyone!

Vinnie

I think I'll be able to make it. Haven't been to NYC meets in a while. If anyone needs a ride from Brooklyn, let me know and we might be able to work something out.

Enough people have made a commitment for this to happen. I will call the hall this week and confirm the space asap. As soon as I have confirmation I'll post here and make an official thread.
