I'm trying to determine if my settings are neutral or not. I know a lot of people move thier controls to "0", but what I'm confused about is my X-Fi's mixer shows it as 50% when windows shows it at 0db.
Here's some screenshots so you know what i'm talking about.
Am I quote, doing it wrong, unquote? Or is it setup correctly for accurate sound? I know if I set creative to 0 windows shows as -12db on both treble and bass, and it seems to lose a LOT of sound and space so I'm not comfortable going to -12db but I just wanted to know if I got it setup the way you guys would?
