The year 2009,to the history of the headphone,is a great year!The HD800 a new flagship headphone of senheisseier,as a brilliant star ,is shining in the universe!
Then,let me introduce every aspect of HD800,and compare it with the greatest headphones in the world.
the package of HD800 use the same hard box as HD650.It’s not luxury than orpheus,and HD540g,but to protect entironment,I have to say thank to senheisser,they don't use the wood to make the box!We like hifi headphone,not the hifi box .we listen to the HD800,and not listen to the box!
In the right corner of the box you can find a silver shinning mark of”senheisser”,it looks so elegance!
In the box,you will find a very soft black silk fabric that protect the HD800.it is beautiful like black pearl.
HD800’s head band is different with HD6xx ,it’s not made by plastic.HD800 use high quality stainless,shinning!very nice.there’s a serial number on the band,and The hd800 is made in GERMANY!a great country famous for it’s preciseness !
HD800’s ear pad is made by sponge.it is very open to the air.the space in the ear pad is very large，even largest in all the haedphone.like GS1000,PS1000.It’s shape is like your ear.I give “perfect”to HD800 in the design of the ear pad.
about the design of HD800,I have to say :it’s too modern.like the movie”007”,it’s so matching with the roadster driven by jame bond,hd800 use silver be the main colour.it’s full of the future feeling.in the botton of the HD 800’s diver,you can find ‘HIGH DEFINITION DRIVER 300’.the HD shows that HD800 is entirety strong than HD6xx.
there’s two place that you can find L,R. One is at the the end of the cable.
The other is at the back side of the driver. I feel a bit regret that the L,R is print with paint,after long use ,it may be fade! If only use carve thr l,r to the headphone,it will be forever and perfect.Maybe senheisser consider of cost of the hd800.
It’s great of senheisser,because in the left driver they set a braille,that if you are in the dark place, feel with your hand , or you are a blindman,you can find the LEFT of the headphone.
O.K. I have said a lot of HD800,and from now on I will tell you the sound of HD800 in detail.
It is ture that HD800 worth its price.
1、soundstage：compare with HD600，HD650，HD800 twice as wide as them，enhance in depth.after listen to HD650,you put hd800on you will feel that you change your villa to a small room.Too small and too narrow!every musical instrument have enough space to act easily.
2、density
It’s without question that the density of hd800 is the highest grade. Commonly,there’s two kind of headphone，one pay attention to the density and the satiety of every note,but worse in soundstage,such as L3000,ED9,and so on.the other,has good sound stage but pool midrange density,such as GS1000,DT990,and so on.I think maybe the K1000 and HD800 do this well,they have not only large stage but also high density.而将这两类统一起来，就是HD800。
3、 the frequency of high ,middle,low
I think HD800is perfect in balance of the frequency.Why did I say this.Because almost each headphone has its unbalance.such as the overenergy of ed9 in low frequency ,the pool density of gs1000 and dt990 in midrange.the over brightness of R10 and 010 in high frequency，the over dull of DX1000 and L3000 in high frequency,But hd800 is too balance as to I can’t find any unbalance with it.It has the vigour of senheisser! Moderate and strong!。As I can’t find a bone in an egg!the smooth of the link up of the frequency let you forget the exist of the HIGH MIDDLE AND LOW frequency,HD800 is the greatest headphone made by senherisser after orpheus!
4、 tone color
Obviously the tone color of hd800 is familiar with AKG K1000,they are both neutral.HD800 will not give you the exquisite like some hiend japanese headphone such asR10、D7000、W5000,also will not give you the over highly denseness such as L3000，ED9，DX1000,it will not give you the high passion of grado headphones like RS1,SR325.also will not give you a extremity analysis like SONY 010，it will not give you the luxuriant like STAX 007.HD800,like K1000,give you the ture monitor of music,it will give you hiend fidelity of your medium like CD,DATand so on.with defferent record you can find difference in them.is’ a hiend monitor headphone like k1000,has the highest refference.
5、detail：every detail of music appear with high neutral,it depand on your Cdplayer and your DA,how many details they have ,HD800 will absolute reflect the detail like the mirror.
Listen to the classic music:hd800 has enough analyzing and quick responses,it make class insurgent and grand. In the small detail HD800 is stable and clear in focus.
Listen to the pop music:not only the voice of man but also woman,you will not find any over sharp with the voice.，from 16 yeasold to 46,you can easily take it.compare with HD800,W1000 will make a woman become a girl,and hd650 will make a girl become mamma .This tell us that HD800 is more balance than HD650 and W1000.even if an ipod can you feel the charm of hd800.To the music fan the hd800 is a treasure.
PS：compare with orpheus,HD800 is so different with it.Theoepheus is a super headphone in the universe,not in the earth.it can let every music been colourful,even you use a cdplayer of 300$,you will listen to the perfect music.but HD800,like k1000,need a good cdplayer and amplifer.So the orpheus can beat every headphone in the earth.even if R10,007,compare with orpheus is too pool in denstiy, authority,and weight of the sound.
D7000is a good headphne,it has a Europe sound style ,but,compare to HD800----the king of europe,it seems like a toy made by japanese. D7000 is defeated in the extend of high frequency.the most deadliness,D7000is too exquisite and big in low frequency,you will be bored with d7000 compare to hd800.
