Black V700?

I was just watching TV, and came across a dating show (duh, like there wasn't enough of these
show these days..) and the guy who was going on a date was a radio announcer. The show
visited him at his job, and he and his coworkers had on what looked like Sony MDR-V700,
but they were in a black mat finish. Everywhere. Makes me want to paint mine!

Thing is, I don't think that radio station used V700 for monitoring plus, they wouldn't have painted
every set they bought. So I was wondering if anybody knew about the existance of these..

doubt it, the v700s have a very distinctive circular look.

V500, they look just like V700 except earcups are smaller

Your right, it's not the v600's. I have a pair of the v700's, so I already know about the 'very distinctive circluar look'.

Err.

Damnit. They probably were V500DJ. Ah well, I still might paint my V700. I like the idea.
Any idea what kind of paint I could use for that job though? I guess not just anything will
adhere to that and stay nice & clean.

they could be V500s, or 7505's [if they have a blue sticker on them...]

I haven't found any comments on how the 7505's sound though....most probably inferior to 7506's though....

do the "Z700DJ" look any different than the V700DJ, or is that just the wack-o japanese designation-thing rearing it's ugly head again??
