You know, cutting edge stuff. PersonallyI don't think it'll ever catch on. When I go out I try to gently roll the cable in same way that it came in the Grado pizza box. Then I very kinda gently put the cord attached to my iPhone in my coat pocket. Same thing when I put them down, only looser.

An umbrella? Well what the hell is that? No wonder I get wet whenever I'm out in the rain. Looks I gotta get me one of those!!

So how does your iphone sound through the RS1's? I gather the sonics are still quite decent considering it don't take much to drive them.

There are two kinds of umbrellas that I use, either a bamboo or animal horn handled Italian handmade job from The Hanger Project or a double canopy golf umbrella from Titleist or Bag Boy. The sound of the RS1i's thru my iPhone 4 is surprisingly really good especially when I'm listening to well recorded jazz and live sets.

Bpcans. Here you go. Happy to post this. I should have done it a long time ago. When I was looking for the Pelican case, this is the kind of pictures I wanted to see.

Just make your foam protector in the shape of a space invader.

Here is a pic inside the backpack. I normally have to pull some things out of the front pocket of the bp when I put it under the seat when flying. But that's OK, because the stuff I pull out is my dac and amp. (Btw. I typically use I'm on the plane unless I have a row to myself.)

Thanks Howlin Fester, that setup looks pretty cool. What was that Pelican model number again, and where did you order it from?

It was the 1200 and I ordered from Amazon. Pretty much the link you quoted. ;-)

What's a good price for some used RS-1i in good condition?

I'd say between $460 - $550 depending on the condition would be about fair.

Gentlemen, with apologies to those who advised me to get the Mad Ear + HD for my RS1i's and my short affair with the Little Dot 1+ amp, I've got a Woo Audio WA6 hp amp that's shipping this week without the 4N purity copper power cable that Woo could provide at $230.00 a meter. If there are members with the WA6 I'd like to know what more moderately priced power cord solutions they've used with this amp. Thanks

Congrats on your new amp....it will be a killer combo

Thanks whirlwind, but the only thing that's getting killed right now is my checking account.

LOL.....it will be all worth it once you receive your amp, and plug your RS1 into it
