Been really looking forward to this; anyone hear yet?

I have heard some songs from it, and yes it lives up to the hype. Its available online but i havnt spolied myself yet, i heard a mixtape The Cuban Revolution a couple weeks ago n its awesome.

I tried yesterday to go and buy it with BP3, but no store in my city had either. I mean hip hop may not be big here but cmon, not even jigga.

Heard most of it. It was the one album I was looking out for this year but unfortunately it cant live up to the hype. Its kind of like hearing It Was Written by Nas after Illmatic. In other words, some nice tracks but nothing close to spectacular. And even the cover art could at least been something original?! Big dissapointment. I liked Blood on chefs apron mixtape a lot better.

Picked it up; have listened to it a couple of times.
Not all its hyped up to be-some good tracks, lotsa filler.

IMO, doesnt touch the first album.

Have you seen that skit? Dave's dying bodyguard says the fans will always say the seasons aren't as good as the one before... Something that plagues a lot of artists. And the secret to staying fresh remains just that.

I heard OBFCL2 when it first leaked (I'm a bad person) and, yeah, it's not part one. But damn! It's been like, what, fourteen years? What blows my mind is how much they still sound like they're with it. Rae is like 1993. The best tracks for me are "Black Mozart" & "House of Flying Daggers." I wish RZA & GZA were on more of the album. But I've always been a Liquid Swords kid.

Shoot, I haven't been keeping up with releases much. I'll have to take a look at this, it's still Raekwon so it can't be that bad, hm?

San-been listening to this album non-stop this week and am loving it.
I came back to this thread to change my initial, hasty review above and then found your post.

Your comments are spot on.
