the nokia n900 is going to be my next phone.. EU mde [should reduce price inflation]
multi tasking
very much like a PC
good cam
linux based maemo
real keyboard
mutiple desktops,
tv out
decentish video

cant wait, my old iphone is almost dead and having rejected the 3gs [not a major upgrade and super expensive and being apple] im left with few alternatives

anyone else got their eye on this?

possibly, i hadnt even heard of its predecessors but i like the interface styling, hte range of features and the tablet design

dropping calls,
intermoittent microphone break up [worst thing]
2 lines of dead pixels which 'grew' across the screen

I think coming from the apple interface the nokia will be a frustrating experience to say the least...

I have to say, as unnerving as the iPhone's screen keyboard was at first (no tactile feedback) it sure beats a micro-sized physical keyboard, and the App Store has fairly nuked any longing for particular functionality, with it's huge (and Windows-like selection of mostly crap) software.

by business modeln i mean they dont look thier phones to one operator, so theres competition and prices for contracts will be a lot lower, im hoping to get an 18month contract thats far better than the iphone one because its cheaper with more texts [need unlimited]

But this one really looks good.
