What will Pitchfork choose as their #1 album of this decade? - Page 10

I now feel a little more justified in my choice of Daft Punk - Discovery in the top albums of the decade thread.

It was placed as number 3, which I think it deserved to be number 1 aswell. Daft Punk are gods.

^ they're also making the film score for the upcoming TRON movie. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

How did Ágætis Byrjun make it when it was released in 1999?

Can't help but post my thoughts and injustices- first the injustices

Not having Constantines' self titled album on there is an absolute crime.
Nick Cave should be higher and have two more albums on the list.
The Walkmen- Bows and Arrows should be way higher.
Amnesiac>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>In Rainbows
Jens Lekman needs more of a presence.
Califone- Roots and Crowns needs to be way higher.

But I thought it was a decent all in all. Not too heavy on the last half of the decade. Some good picks-

No Age- Weirdo Rippers
Yo La Tengo- And Then Nothing Turned Itself Inside Out
The Hold Steady- Separation Sunday
Ted Leo/Rx- Hearts of Oak (Although Tyranny of Distance should be much higher)
Art Brut- Bang Bang Rock & Roll
