Why?
This, if it works like it should, is one of the miracles of the "pro" market. How much would a stand-alone full-balanced crossfeeded headphone amp w/ 2 outs and 2 ins cost me? I'd say 1200€ at least, if it exsisted How much would a full balanced "consumer", "audiophile" stand-alone Pre-Amp cost me? 1500€? 2000€? 3000€? what's overkill? Now, I need both a volume controller for the Studio monitors I use for listening to music at home (with outstandig quality) and a good crossfeeded headphone amp to drive well a pair of Beyers ...Overkill? Maybe! But I'm sure that a WORSE couple would cost me much more... ![]() |

You sound just like me. I use studio monitors for home listening too. The main reason being that I'm too lazy to try out various speaker amps (for now

Edoardo,
what's the price of the 2Control ? I mean here in Italy, or shipped and 'taxed' if not available 'round here; by the way, is it available here ? where would you buy it ? grazie, ciao daniele |

I am not saying i'm getting a 500€ phonitor, but that I'm getting a very very good preamp with maybe the best "phones-out" in the market...

If you need a preamp for monitoring, it looks great.
I am tempted to get one as an input switcher for my Phonitor and to drive a pair of pro monitors...now that would be overkill. ![]() |

I'm curious if someone had the chance to A/B the 2Control to the Auditor, or the Phonitor?
