Good work pedalhead

Guys, i was thinking, if this meet up goes well and we decide to do it again next year, i'll design us a website so we can add pics and promote it more official for everyone to see. It would help encourage people to come a long and try it out.

I'm a web designer, so I am always looking for sites i can design for the hell of it, this would be perfect. What you think?

Excellent! Shaun & I were actually discussing ideas for something bigger next year if this goes well, and a smart website would be ace.

Cool, I really hope we can get something big like Can Jam here in the UK. Id love to go to the USA for the Can Jam but for a few days it's too much.

Ok well I guess we shall see how this works out and i'll definitely be up for designing something in the future.

Yeah I'd love to go to Canjam next year, but I agree it's hard to justify the cost.

Its not that expensive to do Canjam guys, especially if you need to audition and buy some expensive equipment(£1000+), i got return flights for £290 and a night at a hotel (US hotels are much cheaper) easily saved that on the equipment i bought, plus i had peace of mind i bought the right thing, which is priceless. I havnt checked the flight prices for next year, i got mine a few days before

Guys, i got a reply form John and Grasham Slee Audio (John is Grahams partner in crime). He said he would be very interested in coming to the meet, providing he doesn't get tied up with personal private matters arround the date of the meet.

It would be great to see him there im am sure there is a few of you that would like to chat about his amps and other projects...

I'm really looking forward to this event. We'll be bringing an assortment of headphones, amps and sources. Any special requests?

I'm especially looking forward to putting some faces to names and having a chance to chat to some of you guys. Honestly, I'm also very much looking forward to hearing some of the kit that is being brought along.

We have contact with most of the major manufacturers with presence here in the UK, so if this initial event goes as well as expected then it will be worth considering asking some of the big names (Beyerdynamic, Grado, Sennheiser, Audio-Technica, etc) if they are interested in attending.

It would be truly excellent if this grows into a UK based Canjam style event. It can only be a good thing for the UK headphone market, as manufacturers (especially those from the USA) will be sure to take the UK more seriously as a result.

You buggers sucked up all of the hotel rooms while I was in the USA. So I can't make it now.

Unless someone wants to split a twin room, or split a double and I'll sleep on the floor.
