120 gig on Amazon for ~$190.00

I don't know how deep of a discount that is though.

Zune is miles ahead of itunes in simplicity (IMO). Hate the bloatware, but man is it slick!

Rip a CD using Windows media player, set to your favourite resolution. Takes three minutes and gets the album art for you. Launch Zune which then checks your music folder and updates itself, WITH the album artwork. This system could NOT be any easier.

I guess if you like Zune, better make a decision soon.

I do like the MS system/software, very easy to use after some early stutters. This is sad, really. I will keep my 80 as long as I can, but the large capacity HD players are fading away. I don't want an iPod. Maybe I should buy that 120GB Zune, but what if it fails?

I guess the micro sdhc card players are the only way to go now until serious large capacity flash memory becomes affordable. Have a Fuze, may get the new Clip+, and have a 16GB, two 8GB and two 2GB cards. Keeping my fingers crossed that my Zune80 holds up for a few more years.

good news or bad news? I have read in some where that there was a rumour Microsoft has a big lost on media player business. Will this sale is the sign of Microsoft want to clean their stock to close the Media player business?

I'm guessing by next year, all the major players will have at least a 64GB player, with a possibility for a 128GB player for those who really need the capacity. From the looks of it, the price of memory will be decreasing exponentially, so it's going to be economically viable for companies to produce high capacity flash players.

No doubt. Just have to hang in and see what happens. Meantime, hope the Zune80 lasts. I use it mostly as my home "server" with AV docks on my two home audio systems. My dual 300-CD Sony jukeboxes are collecting dust. I also use it on long trips, but for most out and about listening, I use the Amp3, Fuze or Clip anyway.

I've had my Zune 120 for about 7 months now and I love it. Very simple & easy to use. I've never had a single problem with it. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a high capacity protable player. I also have an Archos 605 160 gb, which has been demoted to portable hard drive duties. The Zune is just so slick and portable, the Archos is like a brick in comparison. Also the screen is gorgeous though I hear the Zune HD screen will be even better.

Do you have docks that you use with it? What kind of buds did you buy or are you using the ones that came with it?

So even though it does not have a line out, you can plug it into a dock which then hooks into your stereo?
What kind of docks do you use? Brand and model? Would it work with the Zune 120GB? Can you use Zunes in any Ipod docks?

Thanks for any help!
