Th UE700 goes higher, and is more high focused compared to the TWFK. The UE700 is a TWFK alternate, only difference is the slightly brighter sound, with a better high freq extension. But the differences should only me minor

well i think i'd prefer that driver :|

I don't think $160 vs $50 is worth that little jump in the highs...

TF18 is brighter than the JH10X3, while the JH10X3 is warmer, and darker. From here on what can i say, highs the JH10X3 seems to be a little recessed, it's still detailed and has a clear presentation. It's just more pushed to the back rather than the more present highs that you hear in the TF18. TF18's got better detail separation in the highs, along with more details, better extension, with a more crisp sound to it. Mids wise, the JH10X3 have a very smooth, clear vocal presentation with a warm glow to it. The TF18 has a less forward mid-range compared tot he 10X3, the JH10X3 is fast in mids but the TF18 still takes the upper hand. You get more detail, more micro-details, a more solid vocal sound compared to the 10X3. Lows wise, JH10X3 is among the most powerful monitors i have heard on the market today, offers a deep, warm, and powerful punch that isn't overly powerful. The TF18 offers a deeper, and "low" sounding punch, that offers a quicker, and more "punch" impact rather than a "boom" impact.

Soundstage, no quesiton. TF18's is wider, much taller, and much longer. Decay wise, i would say they are about the same except that you get a btter decay on the lows of the TF18, while you get more lag in the 10X3. Instrumental separation easily goes to the TF18. Price wise, TF18 is cheaper if you get your TF10 second hand, or on ebay. (Which you probably would since you're gonna take them apart anyways).

No Problem, glad i could help. Hope all of you guys getting the TF18 will love them. I am impressed by them to a level that the only monitors that i plan on keeping are these two. Everything else should go to sale.

wish i would have waited on the Mage another 2 months so i would have seen this. Oh well im still happy with them just sucks i spent as much on the mage as i would have for a much better monitor.

I am getting a TF10 with an additional mid driver remolded. They were just about to ship it back to me when I asked if they could change it to a 6 driver remold instead. Luckily I reached them before they shipped it and now I'm getting the TF18! I wonder how it will compare with the Mage.

The mages are fantastic earphone, even more fantastic for the price. But it's not the kind of signature that everyone can take. I myself, love the sound signature.
I already have the Mage but I like try out different sound signatures. I have to say, out of all of the iems that I've listened to, the Mage is by far the most detailed iem I've heard, and I used to own the ER4B's. They are not harsh and don't fatigue my ears, but they could use just a bit more bass emphasis.

I havent tried the re0 sorry. It is more detailed than my ms-1000. and more detailed than an original tf10. If your going to mod your tf10 I suggest going straight to the 6 driver tf10, I mean it's an improvement adding mids but its nothing epic and mind blowing compared to wat MaoDi said about his 6 driver tf10.
But maybe these will sparkle when I match them with a better source and amp.
Currently just straight out of an ipod 3g nano.
Hey thanks for the feedback! I gather you have the TF10+1? I had already bought someone else's TF10 + mid before Christmas, so never had an option to purchase a TF18. Also - it will have cost me $400 to build this IEM, and I figure that with the original costs of my TF10 - building a TF18 from scratch would have set me back $650. I'm already feeling guilty about spending the $400 - $650 would be downright painful.

My assumptions on the $650 cost are based on the following:

$150 TF10 + extra cable, $20 impressions, $420 Unique Melody Costs, $60 total shipping estimate

Anyway - I'm thankful to hear that the TF10 gets more detailed with a mid driver added. I'll be using them with a Sansa Fuze + Ibasso D4.
