Hmmm no? I said "detail" in the highs. That's a different animal altogether. The TF10 has as good or better treble extension - but it seems to me that the Re0 are more detailed - but for now I'm hoping that it's because of the mid frequency deficiency.

The review of the other person on this thread (dscans) who's had a TF10+1 also mentioned wanting more detail - so I'm wondering if that's everyone's experience who's had drivers added.

I havent tried the re0 sorry. It is more detailed than my ms-1000. and more detailed than an original tf10. If your going to mod your tf10 I suggest going straight to the 6 driver tf10, I mean it's an improvement adding mids but its nothing epic and mind blowing compared to wat MaoDi said about his 6 driver tf10.
But maybe these will sparkle when I match them with a better source and amp.
Currently just straight out of an ipod 3g nano.

Thanks for your letter!tf 10 upgrading to six drivers ,the sound focus on analyzing and more detailed.but in our opinion,we honestly recommend you um mage,it is a perfect product though the six drivers custom from tf10 are excellent.you know,the sound is not decided by many factors beside many drivers.

Could you come on msn for awhile? Cause im halfway through changing my order to the tf18s and i have no idea what to do now, get the ue700s , what i lose and gain from the mage to the tf18 and vice versa, theres just not enough details up here on the new design .

Thanks for your reply! I really like the sound signature of the tf10 and was planning to send it for a remould + drivers initially, till the mage came out. For me I'm very used to the tf10 sound signature and didnt like the shure530 signature, which i hear the mages are based on, so im afraid if i can't get used to the mage signature which is mids focused. I was wondering, what high frequency drivers does the tf18 mod use? TWFK?

....i know , but that isnt enough detail lol. Those were just some quick impressions, and the high drivers he used were ue700s , different compared to what um is offering now , the twfk ones. Trust me i have read EVERYTHING on this forum about the tf18s that maodi has posted lol
