Sorry if i sound stupid with this question,
Do UM reshell IE8's? seems nothing much has been said about these being abled to be?
Can someone please advise me if i can do.

lol no they dont, IE8's are dynamic driver phones and dynamics cant easily be shelled, not with UM at least, only balanced armature ones

They do make custom tips for the IE8 which make it isolate and seal better tho

Yes, UM does remold dynamic drivers. According to Sam, many people get their IE8's remolded with them. Fisher Hearing is the one that doesn't remold dynamic drivers.

what really? i thought UM didn't reshell dynamic! Real sorry maguire , honest mistake on my part. .... Lol maodi would that mean UM makes dynamic custom earphones? I thought only one company could do that

Basically it's a mold from drivers I have sent them. The drivers are CI22955 and TWFK the same which are in W3 and UM3x. They made simple 3-way crossover and added filters. They are dual bores with 1cm one bore at the end (the same as Mage).

They reshell dynamics, but are not going to make any in hose designs for dynamics. To everyone out there that keeps asking me single or dual bore...if you've got a single driver stop asking, you're going single bore. If you have dual and above, go for dual bore heck triple bore if you want to.

I asked UM to triple bore my TF18s if they could do it.
