From all I have read so far, it would appear that no significant modification of the originals has been done. Remember that the band have had no association with this - the new CD sets are just a record company re-packaging & marketing exercise.
They would be worthy of the label "Remastered" if the band and Nigel Godrich had personally overseen and approved any revisions that had been made.
Unfortunately (IMHO) "remastered" as a term has been overused to the point of being an empty marketing buzz-word these days.
(sorry if that sounds like a bit of a rant, after re-reading it, oh well ...)
