Honestly, are you surprised? They'll do their solo thing and then they'll get together for the huge money-making reunion album/tour. We'll be seeing oasis again, I have no doubt. (probably sooner than you think...)

Wow, I had no idea they were still together......they haven't had a buzz in the States for a decade now.

Never understood what the big deal about Oasis was, didn't back when they were popular and still don't now that they are past their prime. Some of their songs are nice, but I would not call them iconic or the greatest band to come out of England in the 90s.

Maybe they will make a "comeback" in a few years ...

Very true.....England's greatest band to come out in the 90s was definitely Radiohead, but England didn't recognize it at the time....America did....

England was into their very English band line which begins with The Smiths / The Stone Roses / Suede / Blur / Oasis / The Verve / Travis....

Oasis was essentially a revival of The Beatles with a little more swagger put in, but I really felt at the time, and I still feel.....they offered nothing unique and were highly overrated by the British Press......

"Wonderwal" is essentially a platform of Beatle referrences......"Wonderwall" a George Harrison album, "Back Beat" a movie about the Beatles which debuted 2 years before the song came out, and "all the Roads that lead the way are Winding" = "The Long and Winding Road".......................highly over rated "Rubbish" as they say in Britain....

And Don't Look Back in Anger sounds like Imagine Part 2

Eh. They'll get back together for a "reunion" tour when they need the money.

Lucky I watched them when they went to Singapore. Nothing special about that though, awful sound quality even- but listening to their older songs particularly sent me back to the secondary years. Greatest band coming out of England in the 90s? Not even close, but I'd say they are quite good songwriters.

You can always tell a yank talking due to the massive generalisations and general naivety. Oasis will always be compared to the Beatles by people who dont really know oasis or music. Listen to definitely maybe, thats for all you yanks, and tell me that sounds like the beatles. to anyone that knows anything about Oasis they sound alot more like T. Rex, Slade, The Real People, The La's, The Stone Roses, The Jam and The Who, not The Beatles. You just pikced up the two most beatlesque songs theyve ever written. Radiohead are scruffy pretentious students, and all their songs are miserablist and sound the same, its rubbish. and no america didnt recognise radiohead as the best british band of the 90's coz oasis sold more albums in the us in the 90's, and only 2 of radiohead's songs have charted in the us, compared to 4 or 5 by oasis. if you listen to definitely maybe in its entirety youll get the hype. morning glory just validates it. next 3 albums, average with hints of genius (go let it out, stop crying your heart out) and the last 2 have been solid. radiohead *****. learn what your talking about, coz to anyone who knows anything about oasis you jsut come of as a stereotypical naive american
