Broken h120 screen

Hello ,
i have opportunity to buy old h120 with broken screen , i have very "simply" question , is there any ability to repair it DIY , or to give someone who is better in electrics than me , i am thinking of changing screen (display) for other one in maybe burned h120? Do you have any ideas?Thanks for your answers

If it's cracked nope no chance in repairing. Not sure about replacing it yourself, since yours is useless you may as well open it up find out yourself if you can replace it from another faulty iriver say blown charging circuit.

You could just use the LCD remote, full function from that.

The h120 screen is certainly soldered down, i don't recall if the actual ribbon between the screen and the board is soldered in.

I have a dead h120 board so in theory i have a spare h120 screen, but i don't know if it's even possible to swap them and i don't have the time or inclination to try.

So, here's the long and short of it: I will not be your repairman, but I'll give you the parts cheap if you find someone else to deal with it.
