Success! due to david1978's suggestion. I deleted about 2gb from the unit and it can now access the card. I've only tried the one 16gb card that's only half full but it's an encouraging sign.

Yea, my experience has been you can fill the external but leave room on the internal.

Me too. I am old enough to remember that song as a hit in the 60s. Along with the Moody Blues' "Go Now." That's old.

No, no shipping cost. Shipping Usps Priority would've been 6 dollars. Craig was nice enough to waive it. Probably because I pre-ordered early, and the potential delay.
