Favorite Robert Johnson Tribute - Clapton vs. Green

Eric Clapton - Me and Mr. Johnson (2004)
Peter Green Splinter Group - The Robert Johnson Songbook (1998)

They crossed path in London in the 60s with Green taking Clapton's place in Mayall's Bluesbreakers. Then after very divergent paths, they each release a Robert Johnson tribute album 30+ years later. Which album do you prefer?

peter green. I have that one and its great. I really like the old peter green fleetwood mac - especaily long grey mare

What a tragic figure. You can feel his pain through the guitar playing and singing.

Mr Green is amazing. Wanted to be an old blues guy, and paid the dues to become one.
