So I seem to be the first one to get home...

Today was absolutely fantastic!!!
All thanks go to Juzmister who kindly organized the whole meet

Finally got to meet the man behind the name qusp!
Jeremy is an awesome guy who makes and equally awesome and quality product in his "Twisted Cables" er... cables!
I can't believe the amount of stuff he brought with him all the way from Brissy.

I spent more time blabbing and thinking about food so my impressions are very little,
except to say that Duelund Capacitors with their virgin blood (organic naturally) dielectric are... crazy lol

I'll jump straight to piccies o(^-^)o

Jeremy's (qusp's) JH13Pro

Our organizer in the middle of... organizing!

Most of team Australia~

Unfortunately we missed Nick and Ian
Tom + no Ian's O2 = sad panda

We've already started talking bout the next one!

Btw: I just realized that the pico uses the WM8740... I dunno what I was smoking when whoever it was asked me what was inside of it. The gamma2 I had there had a WM8741 in it which actually measures better in some areas. The data sheets have the numbers. The difference that Jason heard thou is most likely attributed to the slightly different op-amp configuration in the output stage.

Intriguing meet indeed. HD600's with the Woo and Pico DAC. PERFECT combination.
Pico DAC. Definitely getting that little thing!
HD800/B22 Combo. Very musical combo but sadly, not my cup of tea.
HF2's. Hmm. No comment.
CD3K/Melos Combo. Eventually it shall be mine but just not yet.

Glad to see you folks had a great meet- go Team Sydney!!
qusp, i would love the chance for you to convert me to the dark side and making me realise exotic components make for a better sound- don't worry, webbie is half way to convincing me, i think it's just my eardrums letting me down. more pictures and impressions please folks- good to see some familiar faces- i'm just peaved i couldn't make it. Nice work folks

ps- zeph, i'm with you, the pico/woo/600 set up is awesome. Not sure about your view on the 800/b22, i didn't spend enough time with last time we met unfortunately.

Cool meet! Too bad I was 2 hours late for it, there was an awesome band playing near myers, so I thought I'd might as well stay there for a bit.

Anyway guys, I think I left a portable .22 Ordnance amp at the meet, and someone might have taken it by accident. If anyone has it with them, let me know

Haha that's part my fault...
I figure now other peeps can see the true form of the nutcase behind their awesome twisted gear

...

That and he was always holding or in front of something I wanted to snap~

Oh! On that note... I subconsciously navigated to the JH audio site... damn.
