Congrats MaoDi, do you have a pair of JH13pro's as well? I can't remember...

My jealousy of some of you folk who have multiple pairs of these high-end customs knows no bounds. Seriously. You all suck.

Haha, no i dont' have the JH13. I do currently have the ES3X...oh crap. Please don't hurt me...please?

So far, loving the cables. Softer and "tangle-free" than the Westone one.

Would have to give me some time. All i know right now is that they're both awesome, these custom drivers of JHA is truly amazingly fast...like REALLY fast...

I'm willing to wait until after you've had time to review your incoming quad-driver custom from UM.

That's great about the JH cable...I felt the Westone cable was nearly perfect (ergonomically), so this is a good sign.

So far, still letting them run for a bit (since Jerry said that it's a good idea, that they do loosen up a bit and everything sort of falls to together better--Yes i know some don't believe in it but i'm just taking his words)

Some quick words on audio

Highs are very transparent, very detailed with a crisp ring to them. Cymbals sound fantastically real with a extensive richness from them. Smooth and not irritating at all.

Mids are smooth, slightly more recessed compared to the ES3X however lots of detail with a great enveloping feel to them. Timbre is accurate on recordings that i am very familiar with, texture presentation is extremely well done, excellent separation and on muddiness.

Lows are extended to the deepest, impact is superb. More powerful than my ES3X, but not overpowering any frequencies. Great tone, and accuracy on the bass department. No muddiness at all, extremely quick.

Soundstage is Wide, tall with a great depth to them. Front to back is very well done, because the soundstage is overall fabulously tuned to perfection, imaging of instruments is right on also the best i've heard.

sounds wonderful.. seems like it already shaking es3x off. thanks for the input.

i can tell you all that so far, this appreciate thread is a epic fail...haha. Well that's because there isn't enough people with the 10X3 yet. But yea anyways, back to the point. I prefer the sound signature of these over the ES3X...so they are in my ear more often than the ES3X. Not sure if they are superior in general yet...but i like the sound signature more.

Definitely, but i think that's just because everyone was waiting for Jerry to throw something like that out, and because it's not 5 million dollars more than the model below it and only a reasonable $100, everyone just went for top of the line.
