Actual samples on this website. True? Hoax?

You be the judge!

Cual Es?

Oh, you had to click on one of the numbers to actually get them to start playing.

I think these are legit. Even through my onboard audio on my laptop and KSC75, I can tell these are real clean with great separation. I've listened to most of the unofficial remasters over the last few years, and what I'm listening to right now surely surpasses them.

Of course, if I'm wrong, this is going to be a giant egg in my face. But I'm very sure I have never heard The Beatles as clear as I'm hearing them right now.

It has a very digital sound to my ears.
Very clear, very good separation, very precisely detailed, but lacking in tonality and timbre.
Sparkle, but no life.
I prefer the original vinyl.

It could only be that the samples have been processed for broadband streaming. I'm away from my main rig and listening on Dad's tinny mini monitors.

But it does indeed sound like the Beatles reinterpreted for a digital generation: enhanced separation, but hard edges on everything. Dynamic, plosive, but bright--"lacking in tonality and timbre." I prefer the vinyl too.

But I can hear the potential in this for a thundering popular decade-long reevaluation of the Beatles canon as Top 40 music. It should be great for selling cars and disposable diapers.

Surely nobody can say how good / Bad from a internet stream ????? Anyway I don't care I have the "blue box " waiting for me in the UK.
It's very hard to say as it's an internet stream. It does sound quite clear and clean with my ES7/On-board sound combination. My ears liked it, but they are used to strictly digital music from CDs and I haven't listened to the vinyl in a very long time.

It is just for a sample for newbs who use laptop builtin speakers who can't tell the difference.

Do not judge the releases until the discs come out, I am very excited for my Mono set.

I can't imagine evaluating the quality of a remaster over an internet stream. I, too, am waiting for my monos on the 9th.

I will be waiting on the disc the 9th.
