Ok so some of the most creative and talented people are right here on head-fi. In this I would like to kick off the 32 Ohm Audio logo contest !!.
The rules are fairly straight forward. Each participant is to enter up to 3 logos. The winner will release the design rights to AudioLineOut LLC. Where I will have it registered as a trademark and own the logo. The design needs to be in electronic format where we can use it for making a sign, and promotional materials. The winner will be picked by me and my cronies here at ALO as the judges.
Some hints on what we are looking for are, something simple and distinct, easily recognized, not too busy, preference is black / white and or black and orange, ie not a lot of colors. I am not so sure I would choose something with a image of a headphone so while I am not restricting this its just a preference. I mean I do not want to rule anything out, yet also do not want to limit my shop to headphones only. We will have a great section for home audio / speaker and DACs. I know the name is headphone-ish but we would rather leave it at that and not include images of headphones.
I will post the prizes soon on this thread, So far prizes are;
MiniWatt amp
Grado SR325i's Old style with gold cups.
Little Singer Headphone amp
Sony Vintage NOS D25s CD player
and some other cables and such, more to follow.
I think I will also give the runner up some gear as well. Deadline is August 27th 12pm pacific time so you only have 10 days! In the unlikely even that we do not use anyones submission I am sure we will still give out some gear anyways. I also would like permission to post all the results here because I think it will be fun in an "arty" way to see all the cool ideas.
Please email me your submissions in a high rez file (PDF) but if you can also do a .DXF that would be good also, send to me at audiolineout@gmail.com with the title of the email "32 Ohm Audio Logo Contest"
I will ok it and then have you post a lower rez file to this thread, or I can do that.
