Let's settle this: New Kids on the Block versus Menudo

Alright folks, with all of the band matchups going on in this forum lately, it's time for the New Kids to square off against Menudo.

Post your thoughts, comments, concert experiences, admission of having a poster of one of them in your locker, embarrassing photos, copies of your fanmail, etc. etc.

New Kids on the Block as they're the only ones I can remember. I was a bit too young at that time to actually listen to them (I was 3 when their first album was released and 7 at the height of their popularity), so I can't say that they had much influence on me.

As for Menudo, I can't recall them ever being visible in Canada. The first I ever heard of them was when Ricky Martin became popular in North America around 1999.

Who were Menduo? Backstreet Boyz and Boyzone were more well-known internationally.

I'm starting to get inspiration for a new poll here. Since, I've never even heard of Menudo, I guess I'll vote for NKOTB here. I haven't actually listened to one of their albums either, but I don't think I'm missing out that much.
