Cowon S9 BBE effects presets

By presets I mean not custom (a preset example would be Viva, Viva2, Headphone, etc.).

Is there a way to figure out what the presets do? As in, what set of custom preferences would be equivalent to the preset (I am assuming that the presets do not employ a dsp technique that cannot be added in some quanitty via the custom eq setting), Other than trial and error, does Cowon publish what these do? I am just interested in the specific differences between Viva and Viva2. I hear the differences (especially in bass), but would just like to see them to satisfy my curiousity.

Have not seen Cowon publish any details of its preset settings, but you might want to e-mail them for a definitive answer. As for ViVA/ViVA 2, highly doubtful BBE Sound will permit Cowon to break licensing agreements.
