@nepherte

Are the extra feet in the packing the optional rubber type?
If so, I may need to order them as well…I have the spiked feet in isolators on a glass table and my amp keeps sliding around when I plug/unplug my HP's.

  Congratulations joseph69.
Will be interesting to hear from you any difference in sound changing the EL34's.

Thank you very much!
I'm very tempted to swap out the tubes, but I would like to get use to the amplifiers signature in its stock form before doing so. But this may go right out the window very soon, and I mean very soon!

Those are indeed the optional rubber ones. The metal feet are already attached to the amplifier. I ordered them to protect the underneath surface if need be (glass or wood for example). Who knows, maybe they cancel out vibrations better too. Aesthetically, the metal ones look a tad bit nicer. Though the black rubber feet match pretty well with the amplifier too I think.

Nice ones.
Mine is not that clean inside, sort of dry stain / mark all over the PCB, maybe some kind of rinse aid for electronic builds that was not completely wiped out.
I also realize normal bias are quite rare

Yes, they are nice looking. I had seen these feet on the silver amp (left side) in the photos below (maybe from an earlier model) and I assumed this is what I would have received if I ordered them, thanks.

You can then use your metal feets with insulators like those SSC or other type.

I have the metal center isolators shown in the photo above which my spiked feet sit in, just not the outer rubber pieces. So I had glued rubber sealing washers to the bottoms of my (metal) isolators, which then made it a real pain in the ass to shift the amp/PSU to my desired position due to the rubber sealing washers gripping the glass top and not being able to slide them into position, and the spiked feet kept coming out of the isolators because their not attached, their separate from the spiked feet.

So having the rubber spiked feet that @nepherte has (attached) to the amp/PSU would allow me to pick up the amp/PSU and place them where I want without  the issue of fussing with the (separate) isolators.

Simple fix for my amp sliding around when plugging/unplugging my HP's.
I placed Blu-Tack between the top of the rear back halves of the isolators and glass table top…no more issues.
A couple of photos of the GS-Xmk2/BHSE side by side.

You are a good HeadAmp's customer

I used to own the exact same combo.  I sure miss my GS-X MKII & BHSE!  Just gorgeous to look at.

FINALLY....I found a reliable source for a quad matched Philips holland NOS metal base

are they really better than the Mullard XF'2  or the  Holland Amperex Bugle Boy that I can also get for... half the price ?
