My supply of those had run out, so I had my own jacks machined from teflon with machined gold-plated pins, the same one I'm selling on eBay. The batch of BHSEs that is shipping now uses my remaining black jacks on the black, blue, purple, and some gray amps. The silver and some gray amps have the white teflon jacks. In the future, all of the amps will use the teflon jacks

Are the surplus Amphenol connectors as good (regarding reliability and SQ) as your own jacks? "machined from Teflon with machined gold-plated pins" is impressive, while "surplus" sounds a bit unflattering...

Amphenol makes connectors for the military - their products are top notch. Surplus just means they are not being made anymore and their supply is limited.
