Silver faceplates and blue LED's for me is the perfect combination for not just the BHSE, but all audio equipment.

The possibilities seem endless . . . .

I'm really partial to purple myself, I'm not sure why

I would like an ultraviolet LED....

that would be smart and convenient for me because I definitely wouldn't use electrostatic headphones for porn

^ Lol

But I do like the black plate and blue LED with the red glow of the tubes in the backdrop. Well in the pictures I've seen at least.

It's clear that the BHSE is crying out for a Mood Lighting option, where you can change the lighting to suit your mood - fully programmable of course, via a smartphone app. I reckon $1k should do it.

And if that's too much for Justin to produce, then nk77, you'll be pleased to find that the standard blue/black combination looks just as good in real life as it does in the pictures.

Never doubted for one second.

Am I to understand the BHSE is still bias adjustable? And are people generally using preamps with their BHSEs? I do understand this depends on the DAC and if it has some form of volume control. Was considering the Master 7 DAC for a matchup if anyone is interested.

Mine will be used with an A-g Master 7 too.

As in no preamp in the middle? I would like to avoid another link in the chain.

exactly why would anyone put another component between themselves and the music.

My master 7 feeds a pair of HD800 balanced via Master 8 by acss and will feed the BHSE when it arrives via xlr.

Just worried about volume control and don't want to attenuate in the digital domain since I am using a PC as transport.

Is your BHSE already on order. Mine is on order in this batch. Yes I use a computer as one of my sources via usb.

I cant see why there would be any problem though.
