Green isn't a standard option, but I put in a special request for a one-off.

 

I think there is 1 down for purple.  The green will be interesting because the colors often look different when embedded into a metallic surface and not painted on.  Here's the best example i can find so far of a "seaform" anodized color.. And now I should leave the hotel and head across Austin for the meet.

Different colours in audio equipment is a good thing, but if there were several units together in one place, IMO only one colour for all would look right.

Talked to Justin at the meet today and he said they could do just about any color as long as you aren't super specific and if he knew before the plates went to the anodizer.

Looking forward to seeing how it turns out ultimately. I really really like the look of the first two examples.

Justin...will you ever cease to push the envelope? The third green is the one I like the most, but still, mine will be black in my feeble attempt to avoid my wife's detection!

My stable is full of black stallions...any other color and my wife will start asking questions I'd rather not answer. The last time she noticed something out of the ordinary was when I got the Decware CSP2 and Taboo with all those conspicuous tubes sticking out on top. She asked, "what on earth is that thing you just bought?" I responded, "you mean this old thing that had been in my closet for the past 15 years? I just took it out to test it and it still sounds pretty good!" Believe it or not, she bought my BS yarn...but she had me sweating bullets for a minute.

i have a laser engraver and i could put "AIWA" or "Coby" on it for you

Yup. Still gorgeous. 

 

After seeing one in person for the first time yesterday I gotta say it was pretty great. 

 

They're different shades of gold but everything I see your Marantz gear it makes me want the CDP to go with my Leben.
