He seem so nice in person? He lives south of me about 2 1/2 hours, I can drive down there and knock on his door and ask him to turn his computer on, if you want!

No response, from someone who you sent $5000.00 to a year ago??? Your kidding.

The last I heard from him was February when he indicated in an e-mail that he had hired three workers and would ship very soon. No response to my last two e-mails asking simply when?

Justin,

Thanks for responding. It is more efficient to make all of the units in the production run at once (repeating the same steps) rather than to serially produce the units.

Realistically, how close are you to finishing the run?

Thanks for responding. I have had my set of 007mk1s for three years, just waiting for the appropriate amplification.

What amp are you using to drive the O2s now?
^ I read it as he have not brought them to life yet - "waiting for the appropriate amplification".
Hence they probably have been sitting unused for 3 years.

Every time I looked at picking up another headamp for them, it seemed like the BHSE was almost done.

Holy cow! 3 years unused? That hurts my heart.
I'd just live happily with a crappy 717

Justin,
could you give an approximate waiting time for customers ordering today?
Is it still 3 years wait?

It should not. I have been using a friend's HP-1, I have a the little Stax phones and my main rig is a pair of Extremas driven by a mostly Goldmund front end, with a SM-SX100 as an SACD source and occasional amplification.

Nobody waited 3 years and the earliest reservations were when I was just starting to design the amp.

Right now, 6 months.
