SOLD: audio-gd DAC-3DV (EU/Worldwide) *Price DROP*

I am selling my audio-gd DAC-3DV, bought new in late May 2009.
This is the upgraded version of the DAC-3 SE and uses the DSP1 unit - which prevents jitter - just like its bigger brother, the Reference One.

This certainly is a great DAC all-in-all.
If you value spot-on soundstaging and strong, yet controlled bass response, this DAC might well be for you. However, if I had to find a fault with it, its sound is a bit bland and uninvolving to me. I seem to prefer the more excitable nature of the DAC1, which is known to be quite bright.
You live to learn I guess
Preferences aside, I can see this DAC matching very well with brighter systems in need for toning down or as a complement for a pretty neutral setup.

I am selling for 670 EUR including shipping to Europe - which is quite expensive because the unit weighs in at about 15kg according to audio-gd's website.
International shipping outside Europe can be arranged, but you will have to pay for the additional cost (e.g. to the US it's 30 EUR more).
I paid 820 EUR plus VAT for it in May [the price mentioned on audio-gd's website doesn't include shipping and Paypal fees!]. The DAC-3 DV is practically new and in the same condition as it came from the factory. This also means that the top plate has some slight smear marks/fingerprints on it, which I didn't bother to clean up.

Payment via bank transfer or Paypal (fees to be negotiated).

Some pictures of the actual unit being sold:

Pictures of its impressive innards can be found on the DAC-3DV product page

It's set for 220V - European voltage.
The dimensions were a bit tricky to find, but here they are (posted by Currawong in another thread):
48cm wide (front panel), 40cm deep (case), 9.5cm high - it uses the same case as the Reference One.
