You turn on the album and you hear Schizoid Man, and there he is on the sleeve..........the cover is actually more recognizable these days than any song on the album......and its a very nice piece of art I think

Indeed, In the Court… is an iconic classic and does not belong in here, and neither does Born Again, in my opinion.

Me too, that's one of my favourite covers, i have a good vinyl copy which should be from '70 or '71 in still perfect cosmetic conditions and it's glorious.

That painting is so famous many people have seen it but don't even know it's an album cover, let alone having listened to the actual music.

About the Born Again cover i suggest anyone interested to read this article

I would nominate Blind Faith's album with the topless but budding eleven year daughter of Ginger Baker on the cover. At the time it probably wasn't that big of a deal but I bet the child pron perverts just love it now.

In the Court's cover has made me upset as long as I can remember? I don't know why. Yes, I love the music, it gets better with age. When it came out there was nothing so radical or hard to play from a rock-prog. group. The cover is perfect because the whole album is schitzo. Maybe I see myself in the cover a part of me I don't want to own up to? I just dislike it, it's ugly to me.

Artistic or not, that's just sick.

I agree; sick, bizarre and upsetting, but not 'bad'?
