Simple question - M-audio / Amp

Simple question - Im new to headphones and looking to get the AKG 272 but I heard that I need an amp to drive the sound ! My question is , what will happen to the quality from my M-audio 410 after driving into the Amp ? How will this work .
I found a few links and im not looking to spend massive money because I just picked up the M-audio 410 - Much would be greatly appreciated

Let me add would these Work with my M audio-410 - AKG Acoustics K701 ! I mean My M-audio have Power plug for it so it must give power ? two Mic hook ups as well

I don't understand this website at all ? But anyways I got the Denons D5000 and love them ! Lucky for me my ears feel at home and my mixes sound tighter on my Car Stereo , home Stereo and Ipod players ! So thanks again for your support -- ?

Picked an m audio solo plan on using it for strictly headphone amping I pod. I phone source dirt cheap waiting on the connectors I ordered will let ya know I also am new to this. Ath m50. Shure 530
