I've seen people with similar setups on the train. They have their ipad connected to some kind of earphone, headphone, etc so it's somewhat portable :P

it can be used as dual-function to protect your body when someone is shooting you.

i think ipad is quite portable for traveling around with a knapsack :) , and the sound is awesome, too. Doesn't need another mp3 player when you have an ipad in your bag
