Thanks.

With my DIYMOD, the setup is slightly bassy. Hardly interferes with the other frequencies though. Vocals are well defined and highs are evident as well. I hardly use this setup since I only use my transportable indoors. (The setup is way too bulky and expensive; I always fear I'll drop it somewhere.) I always use the DIYMOD with the AD900s instead as I think it's considerably better sounding than the Westones.

And by link, do you mean the FS thread for it? Sorry if I misinterpreted it.

Though the information listed in the thread is slightly incorrect as I've since had someone CF mod my setup to 32GB. Overall, I'm more than satisfied with it. As I stated before, it's probably 25%-30% better sounding than my XWalkman; this is saying a lot since the Sony player is definitely the best sounding unamped setup I've heard yet.

I really like them so far, I just got them. But I can tell already that they sound better to me than my ESW-9A did when I had them (unable to do a direct comparison as I sold them). Very well balanced, detailed and smooth, and they don't need the bass boost feature of my Arrow but can totally handle it, a real win IMO.

Edit: my only issue with the MS 300 is the cable is a bit flimsy, even by IEM standards.

grokit, your arrow not being black and red ruins that setup :P

that 5.5G and arrow looks like a pretty slim setup however. probably doesn't take up too much space which is my major gripe with portable amps and such.

I love it; black and red are my favorite colors; sadly the K702s are dark blue :/ I'm thinking about getting the Silver Dragon cable though (red shielding) to offset that :)

Yeah they are both pretty skinny, but the combined rig could be even skinnier if they were just stuck together with tape or bands. But because of the RWA iMod ID plate I use velcro pads in between. Still pretty slim though.
