cheers mate.
Will do mate, it should be with me tomorrow, so I'll need a day to get used to it and will post again in a couple of days.

Thanks for the other posts, they make me feel like I've made the right choice.

I've had the X1060 for a day now have a few opinions, based upon the brief usage.

The screen is of a very high quality, although quite a bit smaller than the Zune screen, but having said that, most of my avi's now fit perfectly.

The UI is pretty good as well, nicely laid out and plenty of options.

The touchscreen is pretty good as a whole, although I do encounter certain times where you need to press down five or six times, before anything happens, especially when the options are yes, no or cancel, for some weird reason. Apart from that, it works very well.

Transferring the music over was very easy, when using Windows Explorer, but the 19G took nearly four hours, but that's a one off transfer, so no big deal really.

The main bugbear so far, has been the album art. I had a jpeg in each album folder, but the player doesn't recognise them and I'm having problems trying to fix this, without taking all the music off and syncing again.

The sound quality is very good indeed and some of my heavy metal, used in conjunction with the Heavy eq setting, sounds superb, plenty of punch and the treble, mids and high are all of a great standard.

Is the sound miles ahead of the Zune, I'd say not, but it is a decent improvement.

I've no doubt, that once I've sorted out the album art problem and had a few more days working with it, I'll be more than satisfied, but we'll have to wait and see, as I've still 6 days to make my decision and I could always send it back and give the S9 a try.

I'd say it is worth the upgrade, but the difference in sound and video quality isn't "night and day" as I've seen it described before, but it is an improvement all round and when using expensive phones with moulds, I want as much out of them as I can get.

With my set up, the whole sound does have a greater fullness about it, if that makes sense and I'm loving it and will probably end up keeping the X1060, although it is tempting to give the S9 a go, I can't see the sound being any better.

I've also sorted the artwork out, by deleting all of the music and using Media Monkey to add the art and resyncing, which was quite annoying, but it's now done.

Overall, you will notice a difference and the addition of the EQ does remind me of what I missed about the Zune.

One other thing is the size of the Sony, it's quite a bit smaller as well, which is quite handy.

wow, i thought that video quality would be a day and night difference due to the OLED screen and the zune slightly low res. screen(but it compensate it with the high conrast levels)

I always found the Zune screen to be pretty good, but the screen on the X1060 is better alright, definitely clearer with better colours, but it's not like comparing analogue to HD. Maybe I'm underplaying things slightly, sorry about that.
