Woo Audio WA2 & Sennheiser HD 800 Synergy - Page 2

I'm putting this thread back to life to ask you...

WA2... Dynamic or not? Why are there so many contrasting opinions?  Very odd! Is it about the tubes you are using?

Wa2 is just fine with hd800s, they sound much better on zdse.

With the right tubes (TS5998 power, Mullard CV2492 driver and Telefunken EZ80 rectifier) the WA2 is a fantastic amp for the HD800s and T1s!

Oh yes. Tried a WA2 and an HD800 recalled with Cyro at the last ALO Audio meet. I fell in love with it. While I still think that the Sennhesier HD800 is a little bit bright for my personal tastes, it' a great combo and you won't have to get a 2nd mortgage to pay for one.

This combo is so good with my HD800s it has ended my headphone and amp search.

Actually my question was not focusing on the HD800 coupling, but just on the dynamics of the amplifier... I guess that if it's dynamic with the HD800 it's dynamic with anything else... So... What do you mean with "great", and what do both of your parties mean with "dynamic"?
