Lehmann Black Cube - user manual - english version?

Hello,

I've bought a Lehmann Black Cube Linear in Luxembourg last week. and received a user manual in German language. I sent an email to info@lehmannaudio.de and asked them to send me the English version but... no answer from their side.

On the Lehmann audio website, I did not found the user manual, only the first pages about general audio purposes....

Do you have a link where I can find the user manual in english? Do you know... if the english version of the user manual exists?

Thanks for your help.

Just make sure the dip switches at the bottom are all set to the maximum gain.  This setting is the most transparent - I leave it on max gain even to drive my 27 ohm cans or 300 ohm cans and anywhere in between - regardless of what the manual says.

With the dip switches at the max setting the BCL is transparent enough for me to use as a pre-amp stage going into my tube-amps - The BCL is able to tighten up the midbass - the bass in my tube amps are less taught without the BCL active stage.

Bingo. At 0dB and 10dB the amp sounds distant, unfocused, slow, and unengaging (with my 650). However, the amp has four settings and I find that the third (18dB) works best. Maximum gain (20bB) is just a little too much and too bright.

Mine only has 0, 10 or 20 db gain. How do you get the fourth 18db gain?

Mine's also set on max 20db for hte best sound.

Yeah -- the info on the bottom of the amp doesn't mention it, but it's in the User Manual: Switch 1 Off, Switch 2 On. Logical if you think about what configurations are possible.

After more burn-in time, I find that the 10dB setting has improved tremendously.
