Best Pop/Rock Posthumous Album of New Material

To clarify, what do you feel is the best release of an artist who died while working on album. This album has to consist of their last material.....the artist had to literally die while working on the record and never got to see it released.

What is your pick?

hmmm... The only album that comes to mind for me is George Harrison's Brainwashed. Harrison didn't die while working on it, so it doesn't fit your criteria exactly, but it's the only one I could think of.

It seems to me that Gram Parsons' Grievous Angel was released posthumously. 'How 'bout Otis Redding's (Sitting on) The Dock of the Bay?

I was considering Dock of the Bay, but the only track of posthumous material was the title track.

Didn't think of Grevious Angel

Haha I was excited when I saw 100% for my choice (Jeff Buckley) but then I realized there were only two votes.

I feel that album was so great that if he had lived he would've done so much for music. Seriously an amazing work...

Yeah, before I saw the candidates, I thought Grievous Angel and the Minutemen's 3-Way Tie (For Last), but the latter doesn't qualify. D. Boon died just after it was released. I feel like we're missing another big one, though…I couldn't tell you what it is.

EDIT: What's the last record Brian Jones was on? I think Donny Hathaway died while making something, too.
