oh i completely agree, don't get it twisted please. i will be wicked happy when they come out finally. just a bit spent over the getting excited and being let down several times thing.

because of this thread i spun wilco - the album last night and once again it si great! wilco has really spoiled me as far as packaging for lps...the thick jacket, 180 gram record and lined inner sleeve are so nice out of the shrinkwrap.

After reading this I ordered Yankee Hotel Foxtrot and the latest album on LP. Of course, I have them on CD, but the idea of having them on LP.....

Going to see Wilco live next week!

I think that you will be pleased with Wilco (the album) when you spin the vinyl - it (and the CD) have been in heavy rotation at my house for the last month or so.

I was delighted with YHF and now I am saving my pennies to snag A Ghost is Born and Sky Blue Sky on their vinyl releases. What a nice treat to hear a such carefully produced tunes.

Bumpping this thread because I just snagged a copy of Sky Blue Sky on vinyl and I am extremely pleased. It is a tasty (sonic) treat.

So anyone get Summerteeth yet? How does it sound?

Probably going to try and pick it up tomorrow, hopes are high.

Summerteeth sounds great. I think Nonesuch has done a nice job with these reissues.

Today I received Being There, the third release of the Wilco reissues. What a fantastic sounding record. Warm and lush with great bass and attention to details. The accompanying cd did not come with my record but I really don't even care. These reissues are making very happy that I got into vinyl in the first place.
