i have an old copy of Love's "Forever Changes" on LP that doesn't get played because i bought a new copy of it. I bought it from this hippy who owns a store that sells miscellaneous trinkets, clothes, and records. I love this album but didn't like all that noise as a result of its condition so i bought a newer repressing of it. it's been sitting in my box with my other LPs for a while, and i was thinking that someone would like this 'original' as it might have more sentimental value as i wasn't even born yet when this album came out.

from what i gathered, this is the original pressing by Elektra. The label on the LP is gold. I understand that their were two designs on the rear sleeve, and this copy is the one with a band shot with Arthur Lee holding a broken jug.

Condition of LP: The record was in pretty bad cosmetic shape when i got it, but i cleaned carefully with record cleaner the best i can and it does look much better. It still does have some visible scratches, especially on the back side. By no means is this "audiophile quality" as their is very noticeable crackling throughout play. However, i played the album through on both sides today and it is still very listenable and enjoyable. Side B is more 'noisy' than side A. It did not skip once or get stuck on a groove.

I don't know what kind of demand or how rare this is so please make an offer. I can upload some pictures if need be, but it might take a few days for me to do so. thanks for looking
