New Radiohead album?

I read some articles online, but nothing really definitive.

Radiohead work on new songs while touring | Radiohead At Ease

New Radiohead Album On Way | Bulk Of ‘In Rainbows’ Follow-Up Already Completed : Brit Music Scene - Brit Music Scene

Radiohead recording 'noisy and chaotic' new album | Music | guardian.co.uk

Those are a little old though, except for the last one. So does anyone have any info on this/want to speculate the release date?

I wish it would be released right now, but most likely it will be at least a year. Probably a lot longer than that.

Radiohead begin recording new album - as of May 2009

Can't wait. Radiohead can do no wrong.

I'm expecting this to come out early next year.

with the general trend of their releases, I'm expecting a late 2010 release. Generally, they wait about two years, except for kid a which came out after three years, which was balanced out by the immediate arrival of amnesiac. the wait for in rainbows was due in part to the band's creative exhaustion, and in part because thom yorke went solo in 2006.

On the BBC website, it was announced that Radiohead have recorded a tribute to Harry Patch, a WW1 veteran who recently died, aged 113. The page has a link to a website where you can hear the song, though I haven't tried it (I'm at work, no sound allowed).

When was this published? I've read numerous articles that say that they are actually in the process of recording the new album...

It showed up on pitchfork tonight (7th). I don't know when the interview that they are citing was done, but it was released in the July/August issue of the Believer.

I had just read that article (pitchfork) before clicking this topic. Im confused quite frankly. Thom Yorke is a tricky person.
